Where can I fit AeroCatch®?

Will AeroCatch® work on a hinged panel?
Yes with a small modification indicated in the installation instructions.
Can I use AeroCatch® for side panel mounting?
Yes, this is a common application. Information can be found in the installation instructions.
Can I paint AeroCatch®?
Yes, many customers colour match AeroCatch® to the panel. You will have to mask correctly to ensure the linkage is kept clean.
Can I use pop rivets rather than the screws included in the kit?
Yes, in some applications it is not possible to use the screws and nuts so countersunk pop rivets are fine.
Will AeroCatch® fit on a curved panel?
As AeroCatch® can be mounted in any direction there is usually a position that works OK. The 125 Flush Series might be the better option in these applications.
Can I bond the AeroCatch® in place?
Yes, the 125 Series is ideally suited for this type of fixing. Information can be found in the installation instructions.
Does AeroCatch® require any maintenance?
Yes, we advise a regular application of WD40 or similar to ensure the internal linkage is kept lubricated.
